He is a graduate of S1 Environmental Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, S2 School of Economics University of Queensland, and S3 School of Geography Planning and Environmental Management University of Queensland. Has been active in BAPPENAS since 1993 and has served as Deputy Director for Forest Environmental Services, Directorate for Forestry and Water Conservation. In addition, in 2005 – 2008 he also served as the Indonesian delegate in the Financial Climate Change Negotiation in coordination with the UNFCCC. His areas of expertise include carbon policy, climate change, financing mechanisms, and regional planning.
